About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation Preparation
- Prepare and verify export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, shipping instructions, and insurance certificates.
- Ensure compliance with export laws, customs regulations, and international trade agreements.
- Coordinate with banks for documentation under Letter of Credit (LC) or advance payment terms.
- Coordination
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and clearing agents to arrange shipments.
- Coordinate with the sales, finance, and production teams to ensure accurate and timely dispatch.
- Communicate with buyers for documentation approvals, shipment details, and payment follow-ups.
- Compliance and Record-Keeping
- Maintain updated knowledge of export regulations and Incoterms.
- Ensure proper filing and archiving of all export-related documents.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation.
- Tracking and Reporting
- Track shipments and update stakeholders on dispatch status.
- Prepare periodic export documentation reports and MIS for management review.
