DM / Manager - Packaging Development (R&D)
Qualification: IIP mandatory
Experience: 08 to 12 years in pharma packaging development
Reports to: Sr. GM – PDC
Team Size: 3–4 members
Industry Preference: Pharma (Packaging Development)
Role Purpose: Lead packaging development initiatives ensuring compliance, efficiency, and innovation across pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee packaging development of pharmaceutical products and services
- Ensure packaging materials/strategies meet quality standards
- Collaborate with product & marketing teams for alignment
- Monitor timelines, budgets, and milestones for packaging projects
- Drive process improvements for efficiency & quality
- Ensure regulatory compliance in packaging operations
- Manage vendor relationships & sourcing of packaging materials
- Analyze market/industry trends to enhance packaging strategies
- Develop change part layouts & conduct machine trials for new materials
- Support shop floor issues related to packaging development
