DGM - IPR OSD (US Litigation)
Reporting to: General Manager-IPR
Education: M. Pharm
Experience: 8 to 12 Years
Position Overview
1. Master's in Pharmacy with 8-12 years of work experience in IPR.
2. Good understanding of chemistry as well as formulation development.
3. Litigation handling in the US and India.
4. Thorough knowledge of reviewing drafts of settlement agreement, Notice letter, complaints/plaints.
5. Regulatory timelines in ANDA litigation.
6. Making a draft reply to the Plaints.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify an opportunity for invalidation of a patent
- Identify opportunities to early launch products in the US and India based on patent status.
- Identify opportunities to file any pre-grant oppositions and/or post-grant oppositions concerning patent applications or granted patents.
- Preparations of patent portfolio reports and maintain highly accurate & up to date records against all litigation activities.
- Keeping IPR legal knowledge up to date in accordance with current changes.
- Drafting of patent applications and assisting in patent filing-related activities.
- Handling prosecution of patent applications and post-grant activities.
