Position: Assistant Manager – Production (API)
Role: Block In-Charge
Experience: 10+ Years
Qualification: M.Sc / B.Tech (Chemical)
Team Handling: 5+ Team Members
🎯 Role Purpose:
To lead and manage API production block operations, ensuring smooth execution, team productivity, and strict compliance with cGMP, safety, and quality standards. Expertise in DPS / Hydrogenation processes is essential.
🛠 Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complete production block operations in API plant
- Lead and manage a team of 5+ operators/chemists
- Ensure execution of batch manufacturing as per BMR & SOPs
- Monitor DPS / Hydrogenation processes and ensure safety compliance
- Maintain productivity, yield, and cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering for smooth operations
- Handle deviations, change controls, and documentation
- Ensure audit readiness (internal & external audits)
